Notes that arrive on their own

Some help can be set once, then it shows up without you having to remember to ask.

Skills you can ask for by name

A skill is a saved way of doing a job. Skills are shared, so every Bot on the account can use them. You say the name, and the steps stay the same.

  • “Explain this letter.” What it is, whether you need to act, by when, and whether it looks like junk. One sentence first.
  • “Does this look like a scam?” The warning signs, then stop and ask your family. It will not give you a yes, a probably, or a no and send you on your way.
  • “Help me get ready for the doctor.” Symptoms, medicines, and questions, on one short list you can print.
  • “Good morning.” Weather, today’s plans, today’s pills, and one kind word.
  • “Ask me about my life.” One question at a time, then the story is saved.
  • “Grocery list.” One running list, read back when you ask.

A routine, which is a standing note

A routine belongs to one Bot. It runs in the cloud, even if the computer is closed. The note arrives as a message from that Bot, or as a notification. Your family asks the Bot that should own the job to create it.

  • Every morning, around 7:30: weather, today’s calendar, and today’s pills.
  • At pill time: a short note, such as “8 a.m. blood pressure pill.” On the phone, an alarm works only while the Grok Bot app is open.
  • Sunday evening: birthdays and appointments this week, and who you have not talked to lately.
  • Tuesday night: trash out. The first of the month: bills due.
  • Once a month, to your helper: a list of routines, so they can review them with you.

A new routine does not run the minute it is created. It waits for the next scheduled time. If it is set at 8:05 for every day at 8:00, the first note is tomorrow.

Grok Bot comes with several plans, including some X and Cursor plans, and a linked SuperGrok or X Premium+ account. If the account already includes it, do not buy a second subscription in the App Store or on Google Play. Your family member checks that with you.
